Reels like a 360 vom Hofe Perfection, a 16/0 Kovalovsky, and a limited-edition set of Bogdan salmon reels are among the highlights at Crossroads Angling Auction on Sunday. The event, at Budd Lake, New Jersey, has switched from one to three days, with the opener on Friday comprising a near 500-lot discovery auction. Saturday is a show ($5 entry), with the main auction on Sunday. Other good stuff in the main auction includes a 6ft Jim Payne model 95, two Walt Carpenter trout rods and a Thomas & Thomas 7ft 6in Au Natural. Given the US love of lures, top seller is likely to be a Miller’s Reversible Minnow with papers in its original box. This looks a much more rounded sale than Steve Starrantino’s first offering last October, with strong offerings in all categories. Take a look at the full catalogue here. Online bids accepted, though you need to register first.
